Kestler v. Jacobson

Facts: On August 7, 2003, defendant Gianna Jacobson rear ended plaintiff, Alan Kestler, as the two were merging onto Olive from Lindbergh. Plaintiff claimed injuries to his low back, including steroid injections injected by a pain management specialist. Furthermore, plaintiff claimed a torn meniscus in his left knee which required arthroscopic surgery as a result of the accident. The defendant denied that plaintiff's injuries were caused by the accident. The last demand was $60,000.00 and the last offer was $10,000.00. The verdict was in the favor of the defense.
