Case Details |
|
| Plaintiff was a 12-year-old child passenger on a Bi-State bus. She claimed that she was waved into traffic by the Bi-State bus driver after exiting the bus. She further claimed that she was standing within the right lane when Mr. Merriweather's vehicle entered into her lane and struck her. Defendants contended that plaintiff simply ran off the bus and into traffic. She sustained serious injuries, including a fracture of her left tibia that required the insertion of a rod into her leg. She also sustained a right orbital fracture, which required a lens implant of her right eye. | |
